2017 වසරේදි ඇමරිකාවේ Las vegas වල පැවැත්වෙන ලොව විශාලතම තාක්ෂණික ප්‍රදර්ශනය වන CES 2017 දි QUALCOMM ආයතනය ඔවුන්ගෙ නවතම processor එකේ නවතම විස්තර ඉදිරිපත් කොට තිබෙනවා.
QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON 835 යනු ඉතාමත් කාර්‍යක්ශම,අඩු විදුලි ප්‍රමාණයක් පරිභෝජනය කරන ස්මර්ට් දුරකතන සඳහා පැමිණෙන processor එකක් ලෙස සැලකිය හැකිය. 2016 වසරේ අති සාර්ථකව විශාල ජංගම උපාංග ප්‍රමාණයකට අන්තර්ගත් කරන ලද SNAPDRAGON 820 යාවත්කාලීන කිරීමක් ලෙස සැලකිය හැකිය.මෙම SNAPDRAGON 835 processor එක පැරණි 820 processor එකට වඩා 20% පමණ අඩු විදුලි ප්‍රමාණයක් පරිභෝජනය කරනු ඇත .2014 වසරේ නිපදවූ නැනෝ මීටර 10 පලමු SNAPDRAGON processor එක වන SNAPDRAGON 801 processor එකට වඩා 50% අඩු විදුලි පරිභෝජනයකින් යුතු බවද QUALCOMM ආයතනය සඳහන් කර තිබෙනවා.

මෙම SNAPDRAGON 835 processor එකෙහි කාර්යය සාධනය පෙර processor වලට වඩා වැඩි නිසා Virtual Reality තාක්ෂණය ස්මාර්ට් දුරකතන වලටද එක් කිරීමේ හැකියාවක් ඇති බවද සඳහන් කොට තිබෙනවා.පැරණි 820 processor එකට වඩා 60 ගුණයක වේගයෙන් ත්‍රිමාණ රූප විදැහුම්කරණය (3D graphics rendering) හැකියාවක් ඇත.
